I dunno, I kinda enjoy the 5 mans; I get to know the guildies I grouped with better in a smaller setting, although I totally agree with you on the pressure to get attuned and revered with factions and stuff.
It's true that leveling a pally is boring, but so is every other class until level 20, which is when you start getting the good spells and abilities. It's a bitch playing a lowbie when you've experienced the uberness of playing a level 70 character.
