So my parents are coming to visit today...
... and instead of frantically cleaning my pit of a house like I should be this morning (I like to pretend that I actually have a clean house when company comes over), I turned on PBS instead and Bob Ross was on.
Anyone else a Bob Ross fan? I don't know a damn thing about painting, but every time his show is on I sit hypnotized for the entire show and watch him paint happy little trees and clouds. Apparently, it's genetic, because my three year old son watched the whole thing with me today. As cheesy as Bob Ross is, he makes me want to go out, buy a canvas and paint and try to paint along side him.
According to Wikipedia, there was a Bob Ross video game planned, but it got scrapped. That sucks so bad. I would have bought a console just for that.

Hahah you know, she really could care less whether or not my house is a total cesspool, because she gets to see her grandson. She's usually so busy playing with him, that I really don't think she even notices. It's really pressure I put on myself as I'm the only one who angsts about it, which is kind of stupid really.
