Last night the processor burned out on my computer, so responses to e-mails, rp stuff and wow stuff may be slow and limited for a few days. Just posting this to let people know that my access to the internet is going to be limited until we can dig our old computer out of the garage and get it running again or until the parts arrive for the new computer and my husband puts them all together.
Until then, I'll swipe my husband's laptop whenever I can, but as it's not really his, but the company's, so when he goes to work... it goes with him. Will probably be able to raid tonight (which is good as somehow I've ended up being in charge of the raid), as he's coming home early, but for the rest of the week after this, access to wow will be much more limited, as our old computer isn't nearly good enough to run the game, much less do 20 man raids with them. I'm hoping that I'll be able to make the raids on saturday, but that might not happen. So I'm sorry snarks and Aza -- it looks like I won't be able to do an instance with you guys until next week.
On the plus side, the old computer is good enough for writing and surfing the internet - so it isn't a total wash. Hell, maybe I'll manage to get back to some of my seriously neglected writing.
One thing that does suck is that Dinah's nearly completed birthday present was on the old computer, and I hadn't gotten around to backing that file up. Much of it I wrote out longhand, so I have a hard copy of most of it, but if I can't recover it off of my computer, there are a few chunks of dialogue that will need to be rewritten.
Hopefully we'll have a new computer built this weekend and this whole thing sorted out by then.
