I read and finished Storm Front, but I found it a bit underwhelming. I'm not very fond of the protagonist, Harry, and the whole thing was rather ho-hum. :/ I dunno, it's just that nearly every single urban fantasy seems to go the exact same direction: hardass, cynical protagonist is involved in crime-solving of some sort and fights against monsters/supernatural creatuers. (Elaine Cunningham's Changeling series, LKH's Anita Blake and Merry Gentry, the Dresden Files.) Alternatively, the protagonist is psychic and/or gifted with some sort of abilities and is dragged into supernatural fights between creatures of the night etc. (Sookie Stackhouse, some woman's Dark Hunter thing, Cassandra Claire's upcoming Mortal Instruments crap.)
