... and I can't quite believe it. I think the last time I drank enough to get hungover was about four years ago.

For some reason, my husband decided that we needed to drink some wine last night. A glass led to the whole bottle, which led to another bottle, which led to us watching Battlestar Galactica drunk. That part was fun. Waking up to a hangover not so much.

So much for library story time and working out at the Y today.

*facepalm*

I guess we're just getting a head start for the weekend, when Tom and I are flying to a wedding in Washington DC. While I like the groom, the bride is ... ugh. It's going to be a highy swanky affair (the groom works for some DC big shots) and apparently there are a couple of Senators coming. I'm getting the feeling after talking to one of my friends (that is thankfully going to be there) that this is going to be more of a networking event than an actual wedding.

Good times. I think the only thing to do is to find the bar and stay there for the entire reception.

Once you train your kid to make coffee, it should be easier. Last time I was hungover, I woke up at 5am sick and discovered that Chuck Norris had an animated series on Cartoon Network. You should try to write the next time you're drunk. Then post it unedited on the internet.

Hahahaha I like that plan. I think I'm going to have to try it rofl.

Oh I highly recommend it. The series is highly funny when you're completely lit and shouting things at the screen like "Goddammit you n00bs, Baltar is freaking evil!" accompanied by large sweeping hand gestures to punctuate your point. Especially hilarious are any scene between Baltar and Six, because you kind of feel that you're on the same crazy train they're on.

I think watching anything while drunk will be highly entertaining. My roommates and I wached a Japanese soap(subtitles in Chinese)while drunk:P
Be sure to discuss how to achive world peace while you're at the bar:D

Oh yeah. Watching movies while drunk was our favorite pass time in college. Really, it's amazing how a couple of friends and some liquor can make damn near anything entertaining.

Hahaha. They're all a bunch of Republicans, so I'm not sure how interesting world peace will be to them, although that might make discussing it even more amusing roflmao.

Wait, so are you going to miss Battlestar Galactica this week?

One of my favorite memories of college is watching "Jesus Christ Superstar" drunk and acting out the roles a la Rocky Horror. Actually I miss being drunk. Going to a Halloween party with L solo tomorrow night since J is working and will have to remain sober as the caretaker of minor child out in public.

Get drunk at wedding and make fun of the Republicans. There's so much fodder these days for off-color jibes you really can't lose. And everyone will remember you!!

(And if you get by Dinah's, bring camera!)

I really hope I'm not going to have to miss Battlestar Galactica this week. Unfortunately there is this schmoozy thing at a bar tonight that we've been invited to. If I had my way, I'd just stay in the hotel and watch tv, but I think Tom wants to go. So I'll have to download it with bittorrent probably and watch it when I get back.

That's awesome. We often did stuff like that, as going to college in a small town in the middle of freaking nowhere, there weren't a lot of other alternatives. Still, it was so much fun.

I do plan on definitely getting drunk with the Republicans. Most of the people that I know are going are some of the most uptight people I've ever met (most of these people would qualify themselves as members of the "religious right"... blech). I think I freaked them out when we were in college (being the smoking, drinking scarlet woman, atheist philosophy major that I was), and I'm curious to see if that's still the case lol.

Hangover; I sympathise; I woke up with one hell of a hangover yesterday. Hope the party isn't a total bore, you could always just annoy the Senators about all the things they do wrong *snerk*
