This tells me that:
1. It only takes 42 million dollars for a rookie quarterback to end a 19 game losing streak.
2. The Lions will finally be forgiven for redesigning their logo to look like reject Thundercats concept art.
3. The apocalypse is nigh.
I feel bad for the Washington Redskins though. How much must you suck to lose to the Lions?

If that be the case, hypothesis #3 is indeed likely correct.
Sorry, I'm not much of a sports fan ;). I suppose this is a cause for celebration, though, if hypothesis #3 isn't correct?
